What to expect
My goal is to provide a comfortable, welcoming space where you can relax and feel confident in the care you receive.
Treatments are customized based on the condition of your skin, hands, or feet at the time of your appointment. Services may be adjusted as needed to ensure you receive the most appropriate treatment that day.

Appointments
Appointments are scheduled through online booking. If you have questions before booking, you’re welcome to reach out by email or through social media.
Intake Forms
Clients may receive intake forms by email when booking their appointment. Please complete any required forms prior to arriving so your appointment can begin on time.
Cancellations
If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please do so at least 24 hours in advance.
Appointments canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice, or missed appointments, may result in a fee of up to 50% of the scheduled service.
Arrival
Please arrive on time for your appointment. Arriving late may shorten your service time so that the next appointment is not delayed.
Payments
Payment is due at the time services are rendered. Accepted forms of payment are cash, card and Venmo.
Guests
To maintain a calm and comfortable environment, appointments are reserved for scheduled clients only.
Children
To maintain a calm and safe environment within Kim Kate Salon, children are not permitted unless they have a scheduled appointment.
Illness
If you are feeling unwell or experiencing symptoms of illness, please reschedule your appointment. This helps maintain a healthy environment for everyone.
Service Suitability
Some skin or nail services may not be appropriate depending on skin condition, nail condition, medications, or recent procedures. Services may be modified or declined if necessary to ensure client safety.
Skin & Nail Conditions
For health and safety reasons, services may be modified or declined if there are open wounds, infections, contagious conditions, or other concerns affecting the skin or nails. If necessary, you may be asked to seek medical treatment before receiving services.
Refunds
Services are non-refundable once performed. If you have concerns about your skin or nail service, please reach out so we can discuss the best way to address them.

How do I know which treatment to book?
If you're unsure which skin treatment is right for you, the Custom Facial is a great place to start. Treatments are customized and adjusted based on your skin’s needs at the time of your appointment.
What if I’m unsure which nail service to book?
If you're unsure which nail service is best, feel free to select the option that seems closest to what you need. Services can often be adjusted at your appointment when appropriate.
Can I combine services in one appointment?
Yes. Many clients choose to combine skin, hand, and foot services. When booking online, simply select the services you would like and available appointment times will appear.
How should I prepare for my appointment?
Please arrive with clean skin or nails whenever possible. Avoid applying heavy products before skin treatments.
What should I expect after a skin treatment?
Skin may appear slightly flushed after certain treatments. This typically resolves within a short period of time. Specific aftercare recommendations will be discussed during your appointment.
Where are you located?
My treatment room is located inside Kim Kate Salon. You can find the full address and map on the Contact page.
Where should I park?
Parking is available on the street near the salon. Please note that street parking is metered, so be sure to allow enough time for your appointment.
Do you offer consultations?
Consultation and assessment are included as part of your appointment for both skin and nail services.
What if I’m running late?
If you are running late, please let me know. Your appointment may need to be shortened in order to stay on schedule.
Do you sell skincare products?
Yes. A selection of skincare products, along with nail, foot, and body care items, are available for purchase in the studio. Additional esthetician-recommended products and tools are also available through the storefront links on the Skincare Recommendations page.
